SONATA WORLD
SERIES
LADIES RACE 6
AUGUST 2009
It
was only after arguments, pleading and the threat of blackmail that the
Executive of Team Blues breaker reluctantly agreed that the Ladies Race should
form part of the World Series. From here onwards dear readers the plot
thickens.
A
victory by the Piano would mean honours even with just three races to go and a
good chance that the huge rewards which accompany the
Magnificent World Series trophy could go to
L’homme de trois noms .A definite possibility bearing in mind Pianos recent

Rebecca Vernal soon to star in a German produced movie currently being shot in
South Devon, Sarah nee Hodgson (soon to be Barnes) and St. Toms daughter-in-law
Jane a star of the Leicester Canal system, in total weighing in at less than
twenty stone presented a formidable challenge..
And
the strategy worked, Team Blues swept to victory with the Piano several octaves
adrift and Alto clearly off song. And they all lived happily ever after-or at
least until next Thursday
